We take a trauma-informed, culturally-sensitive, approach to investigations and understand that timely completion of an investigation is important for all parties involved.

Mediation

​We provide mediation and facilitation of workplace disputes with a view to assisting in a swift and cost-effective return of the workplace to a positive and productive place. We also provide Conciliation services for workplace harassment and violence complaints under the Work Place Harassment and Violence Prevention Regulations pursuant to the Labour Relations Code.

After a workplace investigation, the next step is to rebuild trust and restore working relationships.We work with you to develop a tailored Post-Investigation Remediation Plan that addresses the impact of the investigation and supports a positive path forward. As facilitators, we help parties reach practical agreements and foster a respectful, productive workplace.

I'm an employer, what's the value of written employment agreements for my staff?

Having written employment agreements in place for all employees is essential in order to clarify and set out the terms of employment for each of your team members.  Without written employment agreements, an employer can be required to provide a departing employee common law notice of termination. This can be considerably higher than the notice required by the Employment Standards Act and be a significant liability for employers.
